Students, Faculty, and Administrators share their Best Collegiate Events experiences!

Best Corporate Events is the ideal partner for TRIO programs. The original programs they offer align with TRIO objectives. Students really enjoy the dynamic, fast-paced, hands-on learning possibilities. Book one of their events, reserve a space, and relax. Best Corporate Events provides everything else from materials to facilitators. These are the key reasons why we have chosen them for our Talent Search and Upward Bound programs for the past five years and why we will keep doing so in the future.

Your “Presentation Skills” program was a wonderful addition to this year’s retreat. The facilitator did a fantastic job engaging the team. Many of our people continue to draw from your lessons, which shows just how effective they are. We look forward to working with you again!

The Southeastern students loved your virtual events! Your facilitators delivered a Virtual Jeoparody and a Virtual Speed Networking program. Seeing the students get excited about trivia and making connections with other students was awesome. Students told us they loved the event because it was fun, challenging, and gave them an opportunity to make new friends.

The best part of our “Build-a-Wheelchair” program was working together as a team, whether a faculty member, staff member or a new student. It was fun spirited competitiveness and very well organized!  Our group enjoyed it very much and talked about it the whole rest of the afternoon.

We all loved our Virtual Best Collegiate Feud program! Everyone enjoyed the experience and we have been hearing positive feedback from participants. We loved seeing our custom questions included in the gameplay. Our host Paul was extremely engaging and fun to talk to, with a sharp wit and ability to think on his feed. We loved it all!

I think all of those who participated in the Hybrid Build-a-Wheelchair had a great time assembling the wheelchairs and playing the game! The competitive trivia games contained some very interesting questions. Your hosts Roy and Joe were very enthusiastic and instilled excitement in all of us. They were very knowledgeable regarding the wheelchairs and we were super passionate about giving back to the community.

Noah Grand Canyon University

I think everyone had a great time! Our Virtual Name That Tune game show was fun and students were very engaged throughout. The best part of the program was listening to our host Russ's funny anecdotes and stories. He was great and so was the program, we wouldn’t change a thing.

Our group seemed to really enjoy their Virtual Guess that Price event and were super upbeat and interactive. The guessing games (guess the price, year of something, etc.) was the most fun! Students that have not met before were interacting and helping each other with the individual challenges. The feedback we got was that it was super fun! Your facilitator, Bradley was super great with interacting with the students prior to the event and kept them engaged the entire time! He was so personable and did a great job!

The opportunity for the teams to de-brief, sharing with each other what they did in their "Igniting Team Performance" event – and preparing them for success when they would complete the task – was a great team builder. The communication aspects the program were fun, as was putting together the puzzle pieces which allowed for communication with employees they do not typically interact with. The feedback received was very positive. Great facilitators!

We enjoyed the Virtual Game Show format. It was very organized. We did Virtual Name That Tune and had a really fun time. The best part was when we used Kahoot to arrange albums in the order in which they were released. College students from Adelphi University use Kahoot very frequently. We rated our Game Show Host a 5 out of 5 and would love another virtual Game Show to get us excited and switch up the platform.

Tom speaks with passion, experience, humor, sincerity and music. He is the perfect example of everything that is right in our sector (or any, for that matter) of education. In his "Seeing Things" keynote, he showed us how to see the aura and not the frame, and the entire audience can’t help but want to look through his lens.

Jeri Prochaska Executive Director, Central States Private Education Network (CSPEN)

I wanted to thank you for hosting our event! Everything went well and everyone had so much fun. Paul was an amazing host and connected so well with everyone. Thank you again for making this Virtual Jeoparody night possible.

This is a note to say thank you! You did an amazing job last week with our office retreat. My colleagues are still talking about how much fun they had and how engaging the activities were. We could be a “super engaging” group, but you handled it with such professionalism. Thank you for arriving early and taking time to get to know everyone. The activities involved in"Igniting Team Performance" were well organized and flowed very well. I especially like the way you brought everything together in the end during the wrap-up/discussion.

Our "Game Show Feud" was an extremely well-organized event. It was a good-natured team building competition. Your Master-of-Ceremonies did a nice job with the icebreaker and the ad-lib to some of the entertaining responses. Fantastic event – a home run!

I want to thank the team at Best for delivering such an AWESOME event! The interaction with the facilitator and the fun activities on the iPad were the best team building aspects of the program. The entire "Bike Build Donation” was fun! The activities kept the teams engaged and having fun. The charitable aspect of the program is the primary reason we wanted to host the event. It was very impactful to everyone. Great job!

It was a pleasure to work with Tom Leu at our Annual Faculty Conference. His “Tuning Into WIIFM” faculty keynote session was the perfect way to start the day – providing a boost to morale, thought provoking ideas, and interactive activities to engage the instructors.

Your “Igniting Team Performance” program got very positive feedback from our staff.  Our group even requested more of these types of events in the future. Thank you!

Tom Leu is a fantastic professional speaker and workshop leader. Wow! Tom’s energetic and engaging style really captivates audiences... he packs a ton of inspiring and useful information we can take home with us in his Presentation Skills Workshop. Highly recommended!

Our "A Minute 2 Win It" event was a great success! Your lead facilitator did a phenomenal job at connecting with the student participants and keeping their engagement high throughout the event. We look forward to future events with Best Corporate Events! Thank you very much!

As our Keynote Speaker, Tom knocked it out of the park! He was dynamic, professional, engaging, and thought provoking. His "Seeing Things" keynote, on challenging your perspectives and changing your perceptions was spot-on. The use of his photography to illustrate how we can see things differently was genius.

Kevin Polky Executive Director, Shatter Our Silence

Best team building experiences to date! Our “City SmartHunt” was extremely organized. The video challenges on the iPads were really fun and our group loved all the activities. We can’t wait to receive the finished video of the photos and videos you had playing at the end of the event.

Carmen DC Public Schools

Our attendees raved about Tom and requested his return again as our keynote speaker.  The comments we received about Tom’s keynote presentation included great appreciation for the energy and relevance of his keynote to our theme for the year. Faculty and administration found the keynote “Tuning into WIIFM – Delivering Compelling Content With Real-World Relevance” to be informative, thought-provoking, and entertaining!

I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for the great Virtual Speed Networking workshop with the CCBC Student Life leaders.  We loved all of the fun challenges you presented and the opportunity to get to know each other.  I especially loved that it was a low-pressure way for some of our newer leaders to get acquainted with the group. If the spring semester keeps us limited to more virtual programming, I will definitely be looking at your other programs!!!! Thanks again!

Tom Leu is amazing! He makes such a difference in so many people’s lives. Anyone who has the opportunity to should experience the ”My Generation” faculty keynote. Tom comes from an academic background; he understands how the body and the brain work together. His job is to inspire you to look at your world in a different way.
