Bridge to the Future

Teamwork and collaboration are the keys to success in our Bridge the Future program. Your group will be tasked with building a bridge out of only cardboard and duct tape that has the structural integrity to support the entire group for team pictures!

Think it’s impossible? Think again. Think teamwork.

Your group will be formed into teams via fun and fast-paced icebreakers that will have your group roaring with laughter. Each team of 10 participants chooses a leader and is tasked to build one section of the Bridge.

The teams must make sure they adhere to strict dimensions and construction guidelines because once their bridge section has been completed, it must then connect perfectly with the sections in front and behind theirs.

Team leaders will meet a few times during the build to share strategies and to cross-share information with other team leaders to ensure total success.

School spirit is another big part of this program as teams also create signage for their Bridge to the Future, expressing the goals they all hope to achieve through their collegiate journey and their pursuits into the world beyond.

Once the Bridge is completed, the entire group will walk onto the Bridge to prove its structural integrity, and to pose for memorable photos.
